Description

The SRG-X40UH is Sony's standard 4K30p PTZ camera and the simplest of the range to deploy: it presents itself as a UVC device over USB Type-C, so it works as a webcam to any conferencing platform with no driver, while also giving a full 4K HDMI output for AV switching.

Optically it matches the premium models - a 1/2.5-type Exmor R sensor, f = 4.4 to 88.0 mm, and Clear Image Zoom reaching 30x at 4K or 40x at HD, resolving 1700 TV lines at the centre in 4K. Pan is +/-170 degrees with tilt from +90 to -20 degrees, and there are 100 VISCA presets, image stabilisation, Day/Night with Auto ICR and Visibility Enhancer.

Control runs over VISCA RS-422, VISCA over IP or UVC. Power is DC 12 V or PoE+ at up to 25.5 W. The body is 158.4 x 177.5 x 200.2 mm and about 1.6 kg, and it ships with an AC adaptor, IR remote commander, ceiling brackets, wire rope and an HDMI cable fixing plate.
