Description

The RM-IP10 is Sony's compact control panel for its BRC remote cameras. It is the straightforward option: a joystick with a zoom ring, preset recall and the essential picture adjustments, without the full shading surface of the RM-IP500.

It addresses up to 112 cameras over VISCA over IP, or seven over serial, and switches between VISCA over IP, VISCA RS-422 and VISCA RS-232C. Up to five RM-IP10 panels can share a system, so a venue can put a panel at the desk, at the gallery and at a secondary position without contention. Backlight compensation is on a direct button; iris, gain, shutter and R/B gain and black adjustments are available through combined button and knob operation.

Connections are RJ-45 for LAN, a Mini DIN 8-pin for VISCA RS-232C, a 9-pin connector for VISCA RS-422 and a 9-pin tally in / contact out. It runs on 12 V DC at 3.6 W, measures 391.3 x 165 x 145.9 mm and weighs about 950 g. Available functions depend on the camera being controlled.
