The Sharp MultiSync M982 is a 98-inch 4K UHD display from Sharp's higher-specification Mxx2 series, distinct from the signage-oriented ME982 in the same size class: it trades the ME982's built-in Android media player for a brighter 550 cd/m2 panel, 8000:1 or greater contrast, 10-bit colour depth and 72% NTSC colour gamut, aimed at professional installations where image quality matters more than an onboard player. Rated for full 24/7 operation, the M982 offers HDMI (2 inputs, 1 output), DisplayPort, USB-C, USB-A, dual LAN ports and RS-232C control, in a metal-bodied 98-inch panel that carries Sharp's standard 3-year warranty including the backlight. This is a fixed, non-touch large format display; Sharp's M-Series does not include a touchscreen variant.
