Description
The Samsung R85H is part of Samsung's new-for-2026 Micro RGB television range, verified as a current, genuine model on Samsung's own UK site under model code MRE85R85HAUXXU. Rather than a white LED backlight with a colour filter, Micro RGB technology uses individually addressable red, green and blue LEDs smaller than 100 micrometres, giving Samsung's widest-ever TV colour spectrum and 100% BT.2020 wide colour gamut coverage that exceeds standard QLED and Neo QLED panels. A Micro RGB AI Engine drives 4K AI upscaling and Ultimate Micro Dimming for contrast control, with support for 144Hz VRR (100Hz native panel) and 240Hz DLG for fast-motion and gaming content. HDR performance covers Micro RGB HDR+ alongside HDR10+ Adaptive, Gaming and Advanced modes. The set runs Samsung's Tizen smart platform with Vision AI Companion, SmartThings/Matter hub support and a solar-rechargeable SolarCell remote, alongside FreeSync Premium Pro, ALLM and Game Bar for connected consoles and PCs across its four 4K/144Hz HDMI inputs.
