Description
The Z407 is a 2.1 desk system: two satellites at 10 W each and a 20 W subwoofer, 40 W RMS in total and 80 W peak. The subwoofer goes on the floor, which is what gets the low end out of the way of the keyboard and stops a desk resonating.
The interesting part is the control puck. It is wireless and sits wherever it is convenient - beside the mouse, on the other side of a keyboard - and handles volume, bass, mute, track skip, source switching and Bluetooth pairing. That removes the usual compromise where the speaker with the controls has to go on the reachable side of the desk.
Three sources connect: Bluetooth 5.0, USB and 3.5 mm analogue, switched from the puck. The system is supplied in graphite.
