Description

Logitech Strong USB is an active optical USB cable designed for commercial installation, letting a meeting room's USB peripherals sit where they are needed while the host PC, Mac or Chromebox stays out of sight. This is the 45 m (147.6 ft) length. It is a USB 3.2 Gen 2 active optical cable terminated USB Type-A male to USB Type-C male, and it carries up to 10 Gbps.

Because it is a cable rather than an extender, it removes the powered midpoints that usually fail on long USB runs. It is plenum-rated and Eca certified to IEC 60332-1-2, so it can be installed in walls, above ceilings, in raceways and inside conduit with a minimum internal diameter of 19 mm. The minimum dynamic bend radius is 25 mm.

The jacket is built for installation handling, with 200 newtons of tensile strength and a 1000 kg crush load. Strong USB works with USB 2.0, 3.0, 3.1 and 3.2 ports and with self-powered USB devices and externally powered hubs, including Logitech MeetUp, Logitech Rally Camera and Logitech Tap. It does not support bus-powered devices. A 152 mm USB Type-C pigtail extension is supplied in the box.
