Description

This is the second speaker for a Logitech Rally system. Rally ships with one speaker and Rally Plus with two; adding this unit takes a Rally up to the two-speaker configuration, which broadens the soundstage so a large room reaches a comfortable level without pushing a single speaker hard.

It carries a 76 mm driver with a rare-earth magnet and a patent-pending suspension system whose job is as much mechanical as acoustic - it stops the speaker's own vibration reaching the camera and the microphones, which is what causes picture shake and audio interference in a bar-mounted system.

Signal and power both arrive over the captive 2.95 m mini XLR cable from the Rally Display Hub, so there is no separate power supply and no amplifier to site. Customer-supplied mini XLR extensions up to 3 m are supported. Note that this is for the modular Rally and Rally Plus systems only - it is not compatible with Rally Bar, Rally Bar Mini or the standalone USB Rally Camera, and the maximum is two speakers per system.
