Logitech Polarizer for Scribe Whiteboard Camera

In a room with strong downlights or a window opposite the whiteboard, a whiteboard camera picks up the reflection as well as the writing. The Polarizer is Logitech's answer: an optional filter that attaches to Scribe's camera lens and cuts the specular reflection while leaving the colour and clarity of the ink intact.

It is a lens accessory rather than a setting, so it works regardless of the video platform and needs no configuration - it goes on the camera and the picture changes. Rooms with normal lighting do not need it; rooms where meeting participants complain that half the board is washed out do.

The filter is 93 mm tall, tapering from 77.6 mm at the top to 71.3 mm at the bottom, and weighs 70 g. Warranty is two years. (Logitech's current product page gives a storage temperature range of -30 to 70 degrees C; its 2022 Scribe accessories datasheet says -30 to 60 degrees C. The page value is the one recorded here.)
