Description

This is Logitech's medium-room configuration of its Room Solutions for Google Meet. It is built on the modular Logitech Rally system (960-001217), which ships with the Rally PTZ camera, one Rally Speaker, one Rally Mic Pod, the Display Hub and Table Hub, an RF remote, two power supplies and the interconnecting cables. Added to that are a Logitech Tap touch controller with Cat5e Kit, a Google-approved ChromeOS compute system with mount, and the Rally Mounting Kit (939-001644) for the camera and speaker.

The Rally camera is an Ultra-HD imaging system supporting 4K at 30fps and 1080p at up to 60fps, with motorised pan of plus or minus 90 degrees, tilt from plus 50 to minus 90 degrees, 15x HD zoom and a 90 degree field of view. Adaptive pan and tilt speed reaches 70 degrees per second and slows as the camera zooms in. The Rally Mic Pod uses four microphones with eight beamforming elements over a 4.5 m pickup diameter and can be daisy-chained up to seven pods; with one pod Logitech recommends up to ten participants.

Control is by a Logitech Tap touch controller: a 10.1-inch 1280 x 800 touchscreen set at a 14 degree angle, with an oleophobic anti-glare coating, an integrated PIR motion sensor for always-on readiness and an HDMI input for wired 1080p content sharing. The supplied Cat5e Kit carries both USB data and power over category cable, so Tap needs no power outlet at the table; 2.97 m and 7.0 m Cat5e leads are included and installer-supplied runs of up to 40 m total are supported. A Google Meet hardware licence is required and is not included in the kit.
