Description

Logitech Extend puts a single USB-C cable on the meeting table and connects it to the room's display and conference camera over standard category cabling. Someone walks in, plugs their laptop in and runs the meeting on their own video platform, whether the room is a Rally Bar family appliance in Android mode that they want to bypass, or a straight BYOD room with a USB camera.

The kit is two boxes. The Display Side (RX) unit carries HDMI 2.0 at 4K60 4:4:4, two USB 2.0 Type-A ports for the camera and other AV devices, a Micro USB management interface and the RJ45 link. The Table Side (TX) unit presents the secured USB-C cable to the user's laptop, takes an optional USB-C power supply to deliver up to 100 W back to that laptop, and carries the RJ45 back to the display side. Reach is up to 100 m, using Cat6a to hit the maximum.

The laptop needs a USB-C port with DisplayPort Alt Mode and no drivers; verified operating systems are Windows 10, Windows 11 and the two most recent versions of macOS, and verified cameras include the Rally Bar family, MeetUp and MeetUp 2 among others. Both boxes take VESA 100 x 100 mm mounting or fix through two holes, a 25.4 mm grommet and magnetic cable dock keep the table tidy, and Logitech Sync reports status and pushes firmware. Note that Logitech's published datasheet cites part number 952-000188; 952-000199 is the equivalent regional SKU.
