Description
The PanaCast 50 is Jabra's intelligent video bar for meeting rooms, and its defining feature is the camera array: three 13-megapixel cameras stitched in real time into a single 180° Panoramic-4K image with no latency. A conventional single-lens bar loses the people sitting closest to the screen or against a side wall; this one does not, which is what lets a small room seat more people.
Audio comes from an eight-microphone beamforming array and four speakers — two 50 mm woofers and two 20 mm tweeters — in a design tuned by a company that has been making professional audio for decades. AI-driven camera features handle framing and speaker tracking, and a built-in content camera streams a whiteboard in real time alongside the main video.
The onboard sensors and AI chipset also deliver 24/7 PeopleCount room occupancy data, which continues even when the bar is not connected to a computer — useful if you are trying to work out which rooms are actually being used. It is network connected for remote management, and installs three ways: wall mount, table stand or VESA screen mount. An optional remote control is available for in-room operation.
