Description
INOGENI's U-CAM converts uncompressed 1080p USB 3.0/2.0 camera and audio signals to an HDMI output with embedded audio, so USB cameras - including AI cameras and devices such as Huddly Canvas - can be connected to CODEC, matrix or display HDMI inputs. It has two USB 3.0 inputs (camera on input 1, audio on input 2), a USB 2.0 Type-B UVC/UAC output up to 1080p30 MJPEG with PTZ control, and IP and RS-232 control. INOGENI also position it as a way to reset USB tiers in long device chains.

USB camera to HDMI
Captures video and audio from USB 3.0 and 2.0 cameras and outputs over HDMI with embedded audio; HDMI output supports 3840x2160p up to 30 fps, 1080p50/60 and 720p50/60.
Two USB applications
Used either as a USB camera and audio to HDMI converter with USB out, or to solve USB tier limitations - the device acts as a tier resetter.
UVC/UAC output with PTZ
1x USB 2.0 Type-B with UVC up to 1080p30 MJPEG, UAC audio I/O and PTZ control supported.
IP and RS-232 control
100 Mbps half-duplex IP interface with DHCP or static addressing, and a 3-position terminal block RS-232 at 9600 baud.
No drivers
UVC-compliant, works with DirectShow, AVFoundation and V4L2 software including Teams, Zoom, Webex and Google Meet.
