A 65-inch 4K UHD IPS signage display with an Intel SDM-L slot for an optional compute module, three HDMI 2.0 inputs and DisplayPort, Android 11 with iiSignage2 on board, and a 500 cd/m2 panel rated for 24/7 operation.

TopAV buying advice

Is the iiyama LH6575UHS-B2AG right for your reception?

The size where a reception screen starts being read from across the room.

Shortlist the LH6575UHS-B2AG for an open reception, a foyer, a canteen, a showroom, a transport or waiting area, or a meeting space where people are several metres back and the content has to carry. It is the point in this range where the screen stops being a notice board and starts being the focal point of the space, while still being light enough at 21.2kg for a conventional two-person wall install. Behind the panel sits the feature that defines the range: an Intel SDM slot that takes a standards-based compute module inside the chassis, so the player can be your own.

Reasons to shortlist it

  • The Intel SDM-L slot takes a standards-based compute module inside the chassis, powered and cooled by the display. An IT team that will not run vendor Android on its network can run its own Windows or Linux player behind the glass instead, with no box on the bracket, no second mains socket and no exposed cable. The module is a separate purchase and does not come with the screen.
  • Three HDMI 2.0 inputs with audio return channel on the third, plus a DisplayPort 1.2 input. That is one more HDMI than most signage panels carry, so a lectern laptop, a room PC and a player can all stay connected at once, and FailOver switches to the next live input on its own when a source drops out.
  • Android 11 runs on the display with iiSignage2 content management, iiControl device management, iiShare and EShare wireless sharing and FailOver, on an eight core A311D2 processor with a G52 MP8 graphics core, 4GB of memory and 32GB of storage, plus a micro SD card slot for local media. Content is scheduled and updated over the network with nothing behind the screen.
  • It is rated for 24/7 non-stop operation, is fanless and has anti image retention built in, in a metal housing with a 50,000 hour MTBF figure. A fanless 65-inch screen in an open foyer makes no noise at all, and it can be left running every hour of the year rather than switched on for the working day.
  • The IPS panel with its anti-glare coated glass keeps colour and contrast usable well off centre, which is what a large screen needs when it is mounted high or read by people crossing a space rather than standing in front of it, and the display is rated for landscape or portrait mounting.

Check before you choose

  • At 172W typical this draws considerably more than the smaller sizes in the range, and on a screen that is meant to run continuously that is a real running cost, particularly across several sites. It also carries the lowest energy rating class, G. Neither is a fault on a commercial panel of this size, but both are worth multiplying out before you order a fleet.
  • The panel is 500 cd/m2, an indoor signage level. It suits a foyer, a canteen, a corridor or a retail interior away from direct sun, and it is not the high-brightness tier meant for a shop window or a glazed frontage. A large screen in a bright atrium is exactly where this limit shows, so measure the light at the position first.
  • The compute module for the SDM slot is bought separately, and this size takes the larger SDM-L format rather than the SDM-S of the 43-inch model, so the two are not interchangeable. There is no USB-C input, so a laptop with USB-C video output needs an adapter, and the two USB Type A ports are USB 2.0.

What to plan before installing the LH6575UHS-B2AG

01

Sightlines, orientation and light

Measure the furthest point people will read from and the smallest text in your content, then check the daylight falling on the position against a 500 cd/m2 panel. Landscape and portrait are both supported, so settle the orientation before the bracket is chosen. The mounting pattern is in the specification table; the screen is 1456.5 x 832.5 x 56mm and weighs 21.2kg, so plan a two-person lift and confirm the wall can carry it.

02

Decide where the content runs

There are three routes: the built-in Android 11 system with iiSignage2, an Intel SDM-L compute module fitted inside the chassis, or an external source over HDMI or DisplayPort. Settle this with your IT team early, since it decides what sits on the network and who owns the player. Tell us if you want a compute module quoted with the display. iiyama lists a 400 x 400 mm VESA pattern.

03

Power, control and access

Allow a socket behind the mount for a 172W typical draw, and think about how the screen is switched on and off across the week. Wired LAN, RS-232c on a 2.5mm sub-mini jack and an IR input are available for control, and 802.11ac wireless is built in. Keep the rear connections and the module bay reachable, and tell us if you want the mount or the installation quoted alongside.

Display price is for the panel. Installation and optional equipment are quoted separately. Purchase-order terms are available to approved education customers.

Build a quote you can compare

Include these details in your project enquiry so the quote covers the room as well as the screen.

  • Number of displays, site postcode and required date.
  • Furthest viewing distance and available wall space.
  • Wall type, fixed mount or adjustable trolley, and cable routes.
  • Laptop model, teaching apps, and any camera or Windows PC needs.

Ask for separate equipment, delivery, installation and licence costs, with a total including VAT. Confirm warranty coverage and any registration requirements before placing the order.

iiyama LH6575UHS-B2AG questions answered

Who is the iiyama ProLite LH6575UHS-B2AG best suited to?

It suits an open reception, a foyer, a canteen, a showroom, a waiting area or a larger meeting space that needs a 4K screen running all day and read from several metres. It is a commercial signage display rated for continuous operation rather than a television, and 65 inches is the size at which a welcome screen or a wayfinding board becomes readable across an open room.

What does the Intel SDM slot actually give me?

It is a standard slot for a plug-in compute module that sits inside the display and is powered by it. Fit one and the screen runs whatever that module runs, typically Windows, so the content platform is yours rather than the display maker's. In practice it removes the player box, its power supply and its cable from behind the screen, which matters on a flush wall mount in a public space. The module is bought separately.

Why would I use the slot instead of the built-in Android system?

Usually IT policy or an existing platform. Some organisations will not put a vendor Android device on their network, and others already run a signage, room-booking or dashboard application that only exists for Windows. A module in the slot gives them the operating system they already manage, on their own tooling, with none of the cabling of an external player. If neither applies, the built-in system is the cheaper route.

Does it need a separate media player?

No. Android 11 is built in with iiSignage2 content management, iiControl, iiShare, EShare wireless sharing and FailOver input recovery, on 4GB of memory and 32GB of storage with a micro SD card slot for local media. Three HDMI 2.0 inputs and a DisplayPort 1.2 input are there if you would rather drive it from a player, a PC or a compute module.

Why three HDMI inputs?

Because a large signage screen often becomes the only display in the space. Three HDMI 2.0 inputs plus DisplayPort 1.2 let a lectern laptop, a room PC and a player stay connected at once without a switcher, which suits a lectern feed or a small rack. Audio return channel is on the third HDMI if sound goes back to a soundbar or an amplifier.

Is it bright enough for a glazed atrium?

Probably not. At 500 cd/m2 this is the standard indoor signage level, right for a foyer, a corridor, a canteen or a retail interior away from direct sun. A glazed frontage or an atrium where daylight falls on the screen needs the high-brightness tier that starts around 800 cd/m2. Measure the light at the exact position and the time of day it matters most.

How much power does it use?

iiyama quotes 172W typical, and the display carries energy efficiency class G. On a screen rated to run continuously that is worth multiplying out over a year, and across a multi-site rollout it is often the number that decides between this size and the 55-inch, which is quoted at 127W. The panel is fanless, so none of that power goes into fan noise.

Can it run all day, every day?

Yes. iiyama rates it for 24/7 non-stop operation, it is fanless, and anti image retention is built in for layouts with fixed elements such as a logo or a header bar. The quoted MTBF figure is 50,000 hours excluding the backlight, and the operating temperature range is 0 to 40 degrees C, so a warm south-facing foyer is worth checking as well as a cold entrance.

How heavy is it and how is it mounted?

It measures 1456.5 x 832.5 x 56mm and weighs 21.2kg, 29.2kg in its box. That is a two-person lift and a wall that has to be rated for it, and the access route matters as much as the wall on a screen this wide. The mounting pattern is listed in the specification table on this page; leave the rear connections and the module bay reachable for service.

Should I choose the 65-inch LH6575UHS-B2AG or the 75-inch LH7575UHS-B2AG?

Viewing distance decides it, and the step is bigger than it looks. Both are 4K IPS at 500 cd/m2 and 1200:1, with 2 x 10W speakers, three HDMI inputs, Android 11, an SDM-L slot and 24/7 operation, so the larger panel adds size rather than detail. The 75-inch is 1679.5mm wide against 1456.5mm, weighs 29.5kg against 21.2kg, and draws 187W against 172W, so check the access route, the wall and the running cost, not just the sightline.
