A 43-inch 4K UHD signage display with an Intel SDM-S slot for an optional compute module, three HDMI 2.0 inputs and DisplayPort, Android 11 with iiSignage2 on board, and a 500 cd/m2 IPS panel rated for 24/7 operation.

TopAV buying advice

Is the iiyama LH4375UHS-B2AG right for your reception?

The compact 4K signage screen for a site where IT wants to choose the compute.

Shortlist the LH4375UHS-B2AG for a reception, a canteen, a retail aisle, a waiting area or a lectern position where the screen runs all day and the message is read from a few metres. What separates this range from the rest of iiyama's signage is the Intel SDM slot behind the panel: a standards-based compute module drops into the chassis, so a Windows player or a customer-specified player runs inside the screen instead of in a box cable-tied to the bracket. At 8.9kg it is a one-person lift, and with three HDMI inputs plus DisplayPort it can sit at the end of a short rack or a lectern feed without a separate switcher for two or three sources.

Reasons to shortlist it

  • The Intel SDM-S slot takes a standards-based compute module inside the chassis, powered and cooled by the display. That means a site that will not run vendor Android on its network can put its own Windows or Linux player behind the glass, with no box on the bracket, no second mains socket and no loose HDMI lead to be knocked out. The module is a separate purchase and is not supplied with the screen.
  • Three HDMI 2.0 inputs at up to 3840 x 2160 at 60Hz, with audio return channel on the third, plus a DisplayPort 1.2 input. That is one more HDMI than most signage panels carry, so a lectern laptop, a room PC and a player can all stay plugged in, and a DisplayPort output is there for daisy chaining a second screen.
  • Android 11 runs on the display itself with iiSignage2 content management, iiControl device management, iiShare and EShare wireless sharing and FailOver input recovery, on an eight core A311D2 processor with a G52 MP8 graphics core, 4GB of memory and 32GB of storage. A micro SD card slot is fitted alongside it for local media, so a schedule can run with no player at all.
  • It is rated for 24/7 non-stop operation, is fanless and has anti image retention built in. That is the line between a signage display and a television: it can be left on every hour of the year, it adds no noise to a quiet reception, and a fixed logo or header bar will not burn itself into the panel.
  • The IPS panel with anti-glare coated glass keeps colour and contrast usable from an angle, and the display is rated for landscape or portrait, so the same screen works as a wide menu board or a tall directory. The housing is metal rather than plastic, and iiyama quotes a 50,000 hour MTBF figure for the panel.

Check before you choose

  • This size takes the SMALL Intel SDM-S module. The 50-inch and larger models in the same range take the larger SDM-L format, so a module specified for a bigger sibling will not fit this chassis, and the two are not interchangeable. Confirm the module format with us before ordering the compute, and budget for it separately.
  • The panel is 500 cd/m2, which is an indoor signage level. It suits a foyer, a canteen, a corridor or a retail interior away from direct sun, and it is not the high-brightness tier built for a shop window or a glazed frontage where daylight falls on the screen. Measure the light at the actual position first.
  • At 43 inches this is a screen to be read from a few metres, not across an atrium, and there is no USB-C input. Sources connect over HDMI or DisplayPort, so a laptop with USB-C video output needs an adapter, and the two USB Type A ports are USB 2.0 rather than 3.0.

On a phone, point your camera at the wall and see the 43" there at its real size. On a computer, upload a photo of the wall (or scan the QR code to take one with your phone and it will appear here) and drag the display around it to scale.

What to plan before installing the LH4375UHS-B2AG

01

Position, orientation and light

Decide landscape or portrait, since both are supported, and measure the daylight falling on the position against a 500 cd/m2 panel. Check the reading distance too, because 43 inches at 4K is comfortable for short messages at a few metres rather than across a large space. The mounting pattern is listed in the specification table; the screen is 968 x 557 x 54mm and weighs 8.9kg, so one person can hang it on a solid wall.

02

Decide where the content runs

There are three routes: the built-in Android 11 system with iiSignage2, an Intel SDM-S compute module fitted inside the chassis, or an external source over HDMI or DisplayPort. Agree this with your IT team early, because it decides what has to be on the network and who owns the player. If you want a compute module, tell us and we will quote it alongside the display. iiyama lists a 200 x 200 mm VESA pattern.

03

Power, control and cabling

Plan a socket behind the mount for a 101W typical draw, 0.5W in standby and 0.3W switched off. Wired LAN, RS-232c on a 2.5mm sub-mini jack and an IR input are all available for control, and 802.11ac wireless is built in. Keep the rear connections reachable, and tell us if you want the mount or the installation quoted with the screen.

Display price is for the panel. Installation and optional equipment are quoted separately. Purchase-order terms are available to approved education customers.

Build a quote you can compare

Include these details in your project enquiry so the quote covers the room as well as the screen.

  • Number of displays, site postcode and required date.
  • Furthest viewing distance and available wall space.
  • Wall type, fixed mount or adjustable trolley, and cable routes.
  • Laptop model, teaching apps, and any camera or Windows PC needs.

Ask for separate equipment, delivery, installation and licence costs, with a total including VAT. Confirm warranty coverage and any registration requirements before placing the order.

iiyama LH4375UHS-B2AG questions answered

Who is the iiyama ProLite LH4375UHS-B2AG best suited to?

It fits a reception, a canteen, a retail aisle, a waiting room, a departmental notice point or a lectern position where a 4K screen runs all day and people read it from a few metres. It is a commercial signage display rated for continuous operation, not a television, and it is aimed at sites that want the option of running their own compute inside the chassis.

What does the Intel SDM slot actually give me?

It is a standard slot for a plug-in compute module that sits inside the display and is powered by it. Fit one and the screen runs whatever that module runs, typically Windows, so the content platform is yours rather than the display maker's. Practically it removes the media player box, its power supply and its cable from behind the screen, which matters on a flush wall mount or in a public space. The module itself is bought separately and does not come with the display.

Which module format does this size take?

This 43-inch model takes the small format, Intel SDM-S. The 50-inch and larger displays in the same range take the larger SDM-L format. The two are different physical standards, so a module bought for one will not fit the other. Tell us the size you are ordering and we will match the module to it.

Does it need a separate media player?

No. Android 11 is built in with iiSignage2 content management, iiControl, iiShare, EShare wireless sharing and FailOver input recovery, running on 4GB of memory and 32GB of storage with a micro SD card slot for local media. Three HDMI 2.0 inputs and a DisplayPort 1.2 input are there if you would rather drive it from a player, a PC or a compute module instead.

Why three HDMI inputs?

Because signage screens often end up as the one display in the room. Three HDMI 2.0 inputs plus DisplayPort 1.2 let a lectern laptop, a room PC and a player all stay connected without a switcher, and FailOver moves to the next live input on its own if a source drops. Audio return channel is on the third HDMI if you are feeding sound back to a soundbar or an amplifier.

Is it bright enough for a shop window?

No. At 500 cd/m2 this is the standard indoor signage level, right for a foyer, a corridor, a canteen or a retail interior. A glazed shop front or any position where sunlight falls on the glass needs the high-brightness tier, which is roughly 800 cd/m2 and upwards. Measure the light at the position before you commit, because a washed-out screen in a window is an expensive mistake.

Can it run all day, every day?

Yes. iiyama rates it for 24/7 non-stop operation, it is fanless so it adds no noise in a quiet reception, and anti image retention is built in for content with fixed elements such as a logo or a header bar. The quoted MTBF figure is 50,000 hours excluding the backlight, and the operating temperature range is 0 to 40 degrees C.

Can it be mounted in portrait?

Yes. iiyama lists landscape and portrait orientation for this model, so it works as a tall wayfinding or directory panel as well as a wide menu board. Set the orientation in the display settings and lay the content out to match before the screen goes on the wall, and check that the chosen bracket supports the rotated position.

How heavy is it and how is it mounted?

It measures 968 x 557 x 54mm and weighs 8.9kg, 12.5kg in its box, so one person can handle it onto a standard flat wall mount. The mounting pattern is listed in the specification table on this page. Leave the rear connections reachable, since the HDMI, DisplayPort, network and control ports all sit behind the panel, and allow for the module bay if you are fitting compute inside the chassis.

Should I choose the 43-inch LH4375UHS-B2AG or the 50-inch LH5075UHS-B2AG?

Reading distance decides it first, but the panels genuinely differ. The 43-inch uses an IPS panel rated 1200:1, which holds colour from an angle and suits a screen people pass at an angle in a corridor or above a desk. The 50-inch uses a VA panel rated 5000:1, so blacks are deeper in a dim foyer or an evening retail space, at the cost of some angle. Both are 4K at 500 cd/m2 with 2 x 10W speakers, three HDMI inputs, Android 11 and 24/7 operation; the 50-inch weighs 11.8kg against 8.9kg, draws 112W against 101W, and takes the larger SDM-L module rather than SDM-S.
