A shallow-depth 2-way in-ceiling speaker with a 60 W multi-tap transformer, made for ceiling voids as tight as 4 in.

At 103 mm deep the enclosure goes into voids that will not take a full-size Saros, which matters in refurbishments and above suspended ceilings that are already crowded with services. A built-in 60 W multi-tap transformer covers 70V and 100V distributed lines, and a screwdriver-adjustable rotary switch on the baffle behind the grille selects the tap or bypasses it for 8 ohm use.

The zero-bezel steel grille clips on with magnets, needs no tools or hardware, and is paintable to match the ceiling; a safety tether is supplied so it cannot fall. The integral zinc-plated steel enclosure meets UL 2043 for installation in air-handling spaces, and swivelling two-step mounting dogs handle surfaces up to 2.4 in. (61 mm) thick.
