A damped-cone woofer, ported enclosure and horn-loaded titanium tweeter give the headroom for foreground music as well as paging, with response from 50 Hz to 20 kHz +/-3 dB. Taps from 3.75 W up to 60 W are set with a recessed rotary switch on the baffle, or bypassed for 8 ohm operation, so one speaker suits both distributed and direct-drive systems.

The zero-bezel steel grille is held by magnets with a safety tether attached, and is paintable so it can be matched to the ceiling finish. The integral steel back can meets UL 2043 for air-handling spaces, has top and side conduit knockouts with a cable clamp, and includes an adjustable tile bridge for drop-tile ceilings.
