Description

A four-channel IP table microphone that connects and powers over a single Ethernet run, adding cardioid pickup around a table for Cisco room devices.

Audio and power both run over the attached 11 metre Ethernet lead into a PoE port on the room device, which removes analogue microphone cabling from the table. Each unit presents four independent channels with cardioid pickup, so the room device can work out who is speaking rather than treating the table as one source.

Most Cisco room devices accept up to eight of these microphones, so a long boardroom table can be covered evenly by adding units rather than by raising gain. Specifications on this page are taken from Cisco's published documentation for this part number.

One cable does everything
