The Codec EQ compute engine is paired with a choice of camera, so the same platform covers a boardroom table, a lecture-style space or a room that needs long-throw framing. Three HDMI inputs and a USB-C input feed the codec, and three HDMI outputs drive displays at 4K 60 fps, which is enough for dual-screen rooms plus a dedicated content feed.

Four PoE++ ports power and carry audio for Cisco IP microphones and other peripherals over standard Ethernet, so a room can be extended without extra analogue cabling. Room Kit EQ is certified for Microsoft Teams Rooms and also runs the native Cisco RoomOS experience, so the platform choice can be made per room rather than per purchase.
