Description
A Codec EQ paired with Cisco's PTZ 4K camera instead of the Quad Camera, aimed at rooms where the camera has to be mounted away from the display and steered across a wide space.
Unlike the Quad Camera bar, the PTZ 4K mounts wherever the sightline is best and pans 170 degrees either side, which suits training rooms and auditoriums where the display wall is not the right place for the lens. Twenty times optical zoom, extended to 240x with digital, keeps a presenter recognisable from the back of a long room without the softness that heavy digital cropping introduces.
The same Codec EQ engine used across the Room Kit EQ range handles three 4K60 outputs, three HDMI sources and audio over IP, so the camera choice does not limit the room. This variant omits Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for sites that require wired-only endpoints, and is otherwise identical to the standard PTZ 4K kit.
