Description

The standalone processing engine behind Cisco's Room Kit EQ range, sold on its own for integrators building a room around their own choice of cameras, microphones and displays.

Buying the codec standalone lets an integrator keep existing cameras, displays and microphones and still get Cisco's RoomOS experience and Control Hub management in the room. Three HDMI outputs at 4K60 support genuinely large rooms where live video, shared content and a third feed each need their own screen.

Four PoE++ ports carry power and audio over IP to networked microphones and peripherals, which keeps analogue runs and separate power supplies out of the ceiling void. At 44 mm high and 2.33 kg the unit disappears into a rack or behind a display, so the visible part of the room stays uncluttered. Specifications on this page are taken from Cisco's published documentation for this part number.
