Description

Chief Velocity is an open-frame outdoor pedestal system rather than a sealed enclosure. Each frame carries one 55-inch portrait outdoor-rated panel on a 560 x 1186 mm mounting pattern and sits on a base that anchors into concrete with threaded rod or wedge anchors. This single configuration measures 718 mm wide and 1711 mm high overall.

Because frames and bases are separate modules, a site can start with one display and add positions later without changing the mount. The baseplate gives 15 degrees of rotation for setting the viewing angle, the open back leaves the display and cabling directly accessible for service, and an optional back cover and speaker mount accessory are available separately.

Rated to 68 kg per frame and wind-load rated by Chief to 140 mph, UL Listed. Internal space for a player or receiver measures 390 x 416 x 451 mm. Note that the frame is open, so it must be paired with a display that is itself rated for outdoor use — typically an outdoor Samsung or LG 55-inch panel, ordered separately. Supplied by TopAV. Modular by design

Frames and bases are separate parts, so a single-display pedestal can be extended to a dual or triple array later without replacing the mount.

Concrete anchored

Each base fixes to concrete using threaded rod or wedge anchors, and the whole system ships on a standard 1016 x 1219 mm pallet.

Adjustable viewing angle

The baseplate provides 15 degrees of rotation and accepts an 8 in or 10 in square anchor pattern.

Two-person installation

The mount is designed to be installed by two people without heavy lifting equipment.

Open-back service access

The open back gives direct access to the display and cabling for maintenance; an optional back cover is available where a closed appearance is required.

Wind load rated

Rated by Chief for wind loads up to 140 mph and UL Listed.
