Description

The Chief ODMPB1 is the modular base module of the Chief Velocity outdoor pedestal system - the weatherised, freestanding structure used for drive-through menu boards, outdoor wayfinding and other exterior digital signage. The base anchors the pedestal to its foundation and forms the sealed lower compartment that houses the media player, power and network hardware.

The enclosure measures 428.6 x 390.4 x 492.1 mm (16.875 x 15.371 x 19.375 in) overall, with an internal device mounting area of 390 x 416 x 451 mm (15.34 x 16.37 x 17.76 in). Each internal panel takes up to 9.07 kg (20 lb) of equipment, and the base is rated to a maximum structural load of 430 kg (948 lb), so it can carry a fully populated multi-display pedestal.

Sealed equipment compartment

Forms the weatherised lower housing of the Velocity pedestal, with an internal mounting area of 390 x 416 x 451 mm for signage players, power and network hardware.

430 kg maximum structural load

Rated to a maximum load of 430 kg (948 lb), enough to carry a fully populated multi-display Velocity pedestal.

20 lb per internal panel

Each internal equipment panel takes up to 9.07 kg (20 lb), so components can be distributed across the compartment.

Anchor-template installation

Installs to a prepared foundation using the published Chief Velocity anchor template, with the studs visible on the top flange for the frame module.

Modular Velocity architecture

Pairs with Velocity pedestal frames and display modules so a single base can be configured for single or multi-display outdoor pedestals.
