Description

The Chief CMA348 sits between two 1.5" NPT Chief CMS columns in a suspended projector rig and damps the building vibration that shows up on screen as a shimmering or drifting image. HVAC plant, foot traffic on the floor above, road traffic and slamming doors are the usual culprits, and they become more visible as throw distances and resolutions increase.

The patented spring-isolator design is rated for a suspended load of 35-100 lbs (15.9-45.4 kg). Loads below that range will not compress the isolators enough to work correctly, so the coupler should be specified against the combined projector and mount weight rather than the projector alone.

The coupler measures 6" x 23" x 23" (152 x 584 x 584 mm) and ships at 26.92 lbs (12.2 kg). It is a ceiling-application component finished in black and is TAA compliant.
