Description

The MW550 is the WXGA member of BenQ's M550 business series — the same chassis and the same input set as the Full HD MH550, with a native 1280 x 800 panel at 16:10 and 3,600 ANSI lumens. Where a room's content is mostly spreadsheets, documents and slides rather than video, the taller 16:10 aspect ratio shows more of a page for the same screen width.

Optically it runs a 1.55-1.7:1 throw ratio with 1.1x zoom and a 100% offset, so it sits neatly on a standard ceiling mount, with ±30 degrees of vertical keystone in reserve. Contrast is 20,000:1 and colour is 30-bit.

The connector panel is built for mixed estates: two HDMI 1.4a inputs, D-sub in and out, composite and S-Video, RS232 control and a 3.5mm audio in and out pair. SmartEco lamp management takes light source life to 10,000 hours, and LampSave to 15,000. The unit is 296 x 120 x 221mm and 2.3kg.
