Description

BenQ builds the AH700ST specifically for golf simulator bays, and the specification reflects that rather than a general-purpose meeting room. A 0.69-0.83:1 short throw ratio fills a simulator screen from a ceiling position close enough that a player's swing does not cross the beam, and Screen Fill lets the 16:9 panel be mapped to 16:10, 4:3 or 1:1 to match the enclosure's impact screen.

The laser light source is rated at 20,000 hours and delivers 4,000 ANSI lumens with a 3,000,000:1 contrast ratio and 95% Rec.709 coverage. A dedicated Golf picture mode sits alongside HDR10, HLG, Cinema and Game presets. Input lag is 16.7ms at 1080p 120Hz, which matters when the simulator software is drawing ball flight in real time.

Connections cover two HDMI 2.0b inputs with HDCP 2.2, USB Type-C with DisplayPort Alt Mode, two USB Type A ports (one for an optional wireless dongle) and RS232. HDMI eARC passes 7.1-channel audio to a simulator's sound system, and a 10W speaker covers rooms that do not have one. The unit is 303.5 x 112.4 x 234.5mm and 3.3kg.
