Description

The VS0108HB takes a single HDMI source and presents it to as many as eight displays at full True 4K quality, up to 4096 x 2160 at 60 Hz with 4:4:4 chroma, HDR10+ and HDCP 2.2 compliance. Bandwidth headroom is 18 Gbps, so nothing is thinned out on the way through.

EDID Expert, set from a slide switch on the unit, chooses between Port 1, Default, Auto and Switch modes, which matters when a mixed set of screens would otherwise force the source down to the lowest common resolution. Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio are carried without alteration, and LED indicators show input, output and power status at a glance.

A bi-directional RS-232 port allows the splitter to be folded into a room control system. The metal chassis is rack-mountable in a single rack unit and is powered from an external 5 V supply.
