Description

The ATEN KE9950ATC is a pre-configured KVM over IP bundle assembled by ATEN for air traffic control and similar always-on operator positions. It ships as two KE9950T DisplayPort transmitters and one KE9950R DisplayPort receiver, so a single operator console can be switched between two separate host machines without a second desk position or a second set of peripherals.

Video is carried at up to 3840 x 2160 with quoted switching latency under 5 ms, over standard Gigabit Ethernet or fibre using the SFP slot on each unit. Keyboard, mouse, audio and RS-232 travel with the video, so a serial-controlled device attached to a host stays reachable from the operator side. The bundle includes the DisplayPort and USB KVM cables, power adapters, cords and mounting kits needed to commission all three units.

Because the endpoints are standard KE9950 units, the bundle can later be absorbed into a larger KVM over IP matrix managed by ATEN's CCKM control centre rather than being replaced. SFP modules (2A-136G / 2A-137G) are ordered separately where a fibre run is required. ATEN provides a three-year warranty. This item is available to order from TopAV.
