ASUS Room Kit for Google Meet GQE20A Starter Kit

<p>The Starter Kit is the entry configuration of ASUS's Room Kit for Google Meet. Per ASUS's own product page it pairs the GQE20A compute system with the <strong>ePTZ UHD camera</strong>, the speakerphone and the <strong>remote control</strong> — the touch control panel is reserved for the Small/Medium and Large kits. ASUS sizes it for rooms of up to nine people.</p><p>The compute system runs an Intel Core i5-1335U on a Meet-specific build of ChromeOS with eight years of automatic update support, on-device encryption and a verified-boot self-check. At 284 x 135 x 29.5mm with a magnetic chassis, wall mount and table stand supplied, it hides behind the display or under the desk, and every port sits on a single face for tidy cable management. Connectivity includes Thunderbolt 4, two USB-C with DisplayPort, two HDMI with CEC and 2.5-gigabit Ethernet.</p><p>The ePTZ UHD camera uses a Sony 4K sensor and outputs 1080p, so its 4x electronic zoom crops into the sensor rather than upscaling, and hardware Wide Dynamic Range handles mixed lighting. The speakerphone offers 360-degree pickup from two omnidirectional microphones with full-duplex echo cancellation, and can be expanded with up to two additional units. The remote gives one-button join and exit, on-remote typing and volume control from anywhere in the room.</p>
