Description
The Acer UL5630 is an ultra short throw laser projector: its 0.252 throw ratio puts an 87-inch image on the wall from just 0.1 m of lens-to-screen distance. That geometry removes shadowing and beam-in-the-eyes problems in classrooms, meeting rooms and exhibition stands where people stand in front of the screen.
Output is 4,500 ANSI lumens at native 1920 x 1200, with input support up to 3840 x 2160 and a 2,000,000:1 contrast ratio. The laser light source is rated at 20,000 hours in standard mode and 30,000 hours in ECO, and the projector supports all four projection orientations. Image sizes run from 70 inches to 150 inches.
Two 10 W speakers are built in. Security includes PIN code locking and a security bar. Power draw is 504 W in standard mode against 350 W in ECO. This is a substantial chassis at 429 x 389 x 158 mm and 7.7 kg, designed for permanent installation on a short-throw wall arm or a shelf close to the screen.
