Acer S1386WH Projector
Description
The Acer S1386WH is part of Acer's Classroom series, designed to portray clear, large images either from a distance or when positioned close to the screen thanks to its short-throw optics, making it well suited to compact classrooms and small meeting spaces. It produces a native WXGA (1280 x 800) image at up to 3600 ANSI lumens in standard mode with a 20,000:1 contrast ratio for crisp text and graphics. At roughly 3.1kg the S1386WH is light enough to move between rooms or wall-mount without heavy-duty hardware, and its short-throw lens allows a large image to be projected from very close to the wall, minimising shadows cast by presenters and reducing glare directly into people's eyes. The lamp is rated at 5000 hours in normal mode, helping keep replacement costs manageable for schools running the projector daily. As a current model in Acer's education-focused lineup, the S1386WH suits primary and secondary classrooms, training rooms and small huddle spaces where space is at a premium but a bright, sharp image is still required.
