Description
The Acer P6500 is a high-output lamp projector for large meeting rooms and lecture theatres. It delivers 5,000 ANSI lumens at native 1920 x 1080 with a 20,000:1 contrast ratio, and it accepts input resolutions up to 1920 x 1200.
The 1.6x zoom is the feature that sets it apart from Acer's smaller meeting room models: with a 1.41 to 2.24 throw ratio it can be mounted well back in a room and still fill the screen, which simplifies retrofits where the ceiling plate is already in place. Image sizes run from 20 inches to 300 inches.
Two 10 W speakers are fitted and DLP 3D is supported. The 365 W UHP lamp is rated at 3,000 hours in standard mode and 4,000 hours in ECO, and power draw is 460 W. The chassis measures 369 x 294 x 116 mm and weighs 4.5 kg. Note that Acer's UK product page currently publishes only a partial specification table; the figures listed here are taken from Acer's full specification for the same part number, MR.JMG11.001.
