Description
The Acer P1258i is an XGA projector with an unusually high 4,800 ANSI lumen output. Native resolution is 1024 x 768 in a 4:3 native aspect ratio, which makes it a targeted replacement for older 4:3 installations, whiteboard rooms and training spaces where the screen is already square rather than widescreen.
Input resolutions up to 1920 x 1200 are accepted and contrast is quoted at 20,000:1. A 1.3x zoom and a 1.48 to 1.93 throw ratio place a 51-inch image at 2 m, with image sizes from 26 inches to 266 inches and automatic vertical keystone correction of +/-40 degrees.
Wireless projection covers Google Cast, Miracast and EZCast. Input lag is 16.7 ms at 60 Hz and 3D support extends to 144 Hz 24p. A 10 W speaker is fitted along with a Kensington lock slot and security bar. The 240 W OSRAM lamp is rated at 5,000 hours standard and 10,000 hours in ECO, and the chassis weighs 2.8 kg.
