Description
The Optoma UZ38X is a 4K UHD laser home projector aimed at everyday living rooms rather than dedicated cinema rooms. It delivers 3,800 ISO lumens with a 1,500,000:1 contrast ratio and 95% Rec.709 colour accuracy.
DuraCore laser technology gives up to 30,000 hours of use with no lamp replacements, and PureEngine handles colour calibration, detail enhancement and picture presets. PureMotion MEMC interpolation smooths fast-moving content, which helps with sport and action.
Setup is quick. Auto vertical keystone correction squares the image without manual adjustment, and a 1.3x manual zoom with 1.21:1 to 1.59:1 throw ratios covers screen sizes from 28 to 300 inches at 1m to 8m. That is a shorter throw than most standard home projectors, so it suits rooms where the projector sits closer to the screen.
Connectivity covers dual HDMI 2.0 with a 12V trigger and RS232 control.
