Description
The LU895UST is BenQ's ultra short throw installation and simulation projector. A 0.253:1 throw ratio means a large image from a mount only a short distance from the screen, which is what makes it viable in simulator bays, immersive rooms and exhibition spaces where anything further back would put people or equipment in the beam.

Output is 5,000 ANSI lumens at native WUXGA 1920 x 1200 from a laser light source rated at 20,000 hours normal and 30,000 in eco, with a 3,000,000:1 contrast ratio and 93% Rec.709 coverage. A dedicated Simulation picture mode sits alongside HDR10, HLG, sRGB and Presentation presets, and input lag is 16.7ms at WUXGA 60Hz.
For multi-projector work there are one-click preset configurations for blending, and the optical engine is IP6X sealed with an optional filter for dusty environments. Firmware updates run over LAN, so a ceiling-mounted array does not need physical access to service. The projector is 327 x 131.6 x 328.3mm and 4.5kg, with a 117% projection offset and a fixed lens.
