A laptop connects over HDMI, DisplayPort or USB-C when you want to work from your own files, and an Intel OPS 80-pin module can be fitted in the rear slot if you want a full Windows PC behind the screen.

It means the display is licensed to run Google's mobile services, so managed Google accounts, the Google app catalogue and Google sign-in work natively on the panel rather than through a workaround.
