Description

Chief's Electric Height Adjust range motorises the last part of an accessible-display installation: a control pad on the frame raises and lowers the screen through 660 mm of travel, so a standing adult, a seated user and a child can all reach the same interactive panel. An anti-collision sensor stops and reverses the motion the moment the mount meets an obstruction, which matters in classrooms and open offices.

The XFD1U is the floor-support version: the frame stands on the floor and rests against the wall, so the wall carries no load and its construction is not a limiting factor. It carries up to 310 lbs (140.6 kg) on VESA patterns from 200 x 200 mm to 860 x 510 mm, and the centre of the display travels between 913.4 mm and 1563.4 mm from the floor. Levelling adjustment of up to 38 mm handles uneven floors, and tilt increments of 0, 2 and 4 degrees are available.

Assembly is a two-step process, and integrated cable management with strain relief stops the display lead pulling out as the screen moves. Optional accessories, sold separately, add remote control (PACREM) or a Bluetooth dongle (PACBLU) for the LINAK smartphone app. Collapsed dimensions are 1163 x 165 x 178 mm and shipping weight is 73.9 kg. Finish is black. The mount is UL Listed and meets UL certification for the Tall Institutional Cart standard. This is the UK variant, supplied with a UK mains lead. Chief also lists EU and Swiss cord versions of the same chassis under separate part numbers.
